Meet Dr Emma
Therapeutic Services
Emma's clients describe her as being highly approachable, authentic, warm, and down to earth. She has a decade of experience as a psychologist and has worked with adolescents and adults on a wide variety of complex presentations. She uses acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, eye movement and desensitisation therapy (EDMR), and schema therapy.

Assessment Services
Emma offers a range of assessments for children, adolescents and adults. These include ADHD assessments, autism assessments, intelligence testing, and personality testing.

Workplace stress
Emma has additional specialist training in organisational psychology, and has expertise managing mental health issues related to workplace stress. She completed her doctoral research on how emergency physicians can best stay calm and make accurate decisions while managing seriously ill patients.

How to book therapeutic appointments
Individual therapeutic appointments are conducted through Telehealth. Please email our receptionist or phone to book. ​

Cost of therapeutic appointments
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends 50-55 minute sessions fees be set at $311. Fees are set below the recommended rate at $280. Your GP or Psychiatrist will be able to provide a mental health care plan to Medicare. As part of this plan, you receive a $96.55 rebate for up to 10 sessions per year. With a Medicare rebate, the total out of pocket cost is $183.45
